Some Policies of Saudi Arabian Airlines

Introduction  Saudi Arabian Airlines is the national and the only airline of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia based in Jeddah.  It is the largest airline in the Middle East with a fleet of over 120 aircraft including B747, MD- 11, MD-90, A300/600 and B777.  It flies over 12 billion passengers per year.

the Employment Payment Policy in Saudi Arabian Airlines  This payment system differs from other organizations in the currency used.  When it is distributed.  Salary increases.

The Employment Payment Policy in Saudi Arabian Airlines  Employees are taking 13th months salary.  The service salary increases annually for all employees.

The Means of Communication in Saudi Arabian Airlines  Employees are using all communication directions upward, downward, and horizontal.  They also use different channel of communication like electronic, written, and oral.  The style of communication is formal and/or informal.

The Means of Communication in Saudi Arabian Airlines  Usually managers use informal tone with the employees.  On the other hand, this organization has very strict and firm rules such as the leaves, vacations, and official holidays.

The Reflection of Culture in this Organization  Saudi Arabia is the Islamic center in the Middle East because of the holiest of destinations in the Muslim world, Mecca and Al- Medina cities.  Each year, over 2 million Muslims perform the Hajj, or Great Pilgrimage to Mecca.

The Reflection of Culture in this Organization  Saudi Arabian Airlines prevents the carrier from serving alcoholic beverages to passengers.  It sets up a traveling prayer before any plane takes off right after the safety instructions.

The Reflection of Culture in this Organization  People are allowed to pray in the plane in the special provided areas.  Women should wear veil once they get to the Saudi Airport by the law.

Conclusion  I discussed some payment policies in Saudi Arabian Airlines.  I also shed the light on the means of communication among the employees.  The most noticeable aspect in this organization is the reflection of religion and culture and the Islamic rituals that implemented by employees or Muslim passengers.
