ICT Project Based Learning Today’s Learners need to be taught more than just basic skills Learners must become proficient in 21 st Century skills

21 st Century skills Accountability and Adaptability Communication Skills Critical Thinking Skills Information and Media Literacy Skills Interpersonal and Collaborative Skills Problem Identification, Formulation, and Solution Self-Direction Social Responsibility

Assessing in different ways Assessment should not only be used at end of a project / task (Summative) Assessment should be ongoing and should take place throughout learning process (Formative) Assessment should drive PBL

Summative Assessment Tests Completed tasks or projects done after the fact Gives feedback on how well they have done Analysis of results can be used to identify areas for improvement
