Leadership and Decision Making Decisions should be made with students being at the forefront of the decision making and with the input of the adults who can guide this process. The style of leadership is chosen by the task at hand, the end goal, and the best tool for the job, which include: the innovator (designer), the developer (design & build), the activator (builder), the maximizer (build and maintain), or the stabilizer (maintain). These styles are adapted to situation, the people involved, and the challenges of the organization.
