What is MSNA? –Part of NSNA & WSNA –Purpose-to assume responsibility for contributing to nursing education in order to provide the highest quality health care –To provide programs representatives of fundamental and current professional interests and concerns, and –To aid in the development of the whole person, his/her professional responsibility for the health care of people in all walks of life
Costs vs Benefits Membership –local –$15.00 for the duration of the ADN program or $10/year –Students enrolled in the nursing program and those in courses preparing for admission to the Associate Degree nursing program are eligible Membership –state/national –$30.00 /year Extra credit Networking Scholarships Free publications – Imprint Conventions Internships / Applications Friends Knowledge Presentations Fun
