IP Offices Contribution to the Development Agenda

(1) Assuring Quality and Efficiency  Enhancing the predictability of the system and diminishing juridical insecurity  To avoid the concession of patents that do not represent relevant contributions to the state of the art  To favor inventing around and avoiding market reserves on future innovation;

(2) Monitoring and disbursing Technological Information Understanding of technology paths and monitoring trends Identification of technology suppliers and providing information to help build technological or commercial partnerships

(3) Promoting the use of IP Promoting the understanding and use of the IP system by Developing Countries citizens and companies Building special provisions and offering support for LDCs citizens and companies
