Parkview Early Education Center Friday, February 22, :30pm Doors Open/Concession Stand Opens 7:00pm “Madagascar 3” Movie begins Join us for the cheapest entertainment in town ($1 per person)! Bring a lawn chair or blanket to enjoy the movie in the gymnasium with family and school friends. Concessions will be available for a minimal price. Enter the movie raffle for $1 to take home the DVD after the showing. Parkview Early Education Center PTA Sponsored Daytime Programs Thursday, January 31- Professor Wylde’s Traveling School Show Cleveland Metroparks Zoo 60 minutes (45 minute show and 15 minutes for Q&A) Topic: Animal Adaptations Location-school gym 2 shows to accommodate ALL kids (10:00-11:00 and 12:30-1:30) Tuesday, February 26-Margie & Mike Live Theatre and Classroom Workshops Cleveland Playhouse 45 minute live theatre production +45 minute classroom workshops for preschool/DAP/kindergarten classes Topic: Based on the children’s book Make Way for Duckings, discussion of wants, needs, acceptance of differences, etc. Location-school gym and classrooms 2 theatre shows to accommodate ALL kids and schedule of workshops to follow

Friday, March 1- Plants & Me Investigation Cleveland Botanical Garden 45 minute classroom workshops (all materials provided by CBG; teachers are asked to have a table cleared in their classrooms for set-up area) Topic: Plants surround us in our daily life. The clothes we wear, the food we eat, and even the chairs we sit in come form plants. Investigate the diversity of plant use in our lives. Location-kindergarten classrooms THIS PROGRAM IS FOR KINDERGARTEN ONLY. Wednesday, May 1- The Incredible Human Machine C.O.S.I. 45 minute assembly minute hands-on exploration Topic: COSI’s Body Mechanic helps students learn what it takes to keep their body engines in tip-top shape. Explore the digestive, nervous, and circulatory systems, plus learn about nutrients and how exercise keeps a body healthy.
