Voluntary Sector and CCG Liaison

Purpose To build the relationship with the Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) To raise the profile of the Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) with the new commissioners To identify opportunities for partnership work To support the VCS to engage in initiatives

Objectives to support the engagement between the VCS and the CCG to develop initiatives that are relevant to CCG priorities to support relevant VCS organisations to deliver the identified initiatives. to raise the role and importance of the VCS in the delivery of Primary Care and wider health services, in Derby and the surrounding areas

Why do this? Because it’s all change -Planning systems have changed -Funding streams have changed -Responsibilities have changed -Relationships have changed VCS need to respond
