Objectif spécifique To increase the preparedness and capacity of RC/RC NSs to respond to diarrhoeal disease outbreaks by establishing a Diarrhoeal Disease Unit in Africa for 3 years
Expected Results: Result 1: An active and relevant DDU is established as a diarrhoeal disease focal point and reference centre available to Federation and external partners and players. Result 2: Increased acute diarrhoeal disease outbreak preparedness and response capacity at local, National and Zonal levels through best practice training and development of National diarrhoeal disease response and mitigation strategies. Result 3: Establishment of more long-term diarrhoeal disease mitigation projects. Result 4: A monitoring and evaluation role in diarrhoeal disease response and mitigation.
