 Dementia is loss of brain function  Alzheimer’s is form of dementia that gets worse over time  It affects memory, thinking, and behavior  The elderly tend to get Alzheimer’s.

 Preferably the HOSA polo, if you do not have one, you can buy it for $15 or wear the HOSA t- shirt from last year  No shorts or flip-flops. They have A/C  DRESS APPROPRIATELY!! It’s a senior living home, have respect and be “Klein Klean”

 Do something! Interact with residents and ask to help as much as possible.  If you are not sure what there is to do, ASK FOR HELP. Don’t just stand there.  Be kind and patient  Do your ABSOLUTE BEST. You are representing Klein HOSA, you need to show how great of a group we are.

 Do not be on your cell phone  Do not do anything you are not supposed to  Do not pry into people’s personal life  Don’t do nothing, you are volunteering, do work!

 You may go here as often as you like, but you can only receive 4 hours per week.
