Erasmus Staff Week – March 2014 UNI Inter-Net Best practices and innovation of UNIversities through INTERnational NETworking Programme: Erasmus Plus Action: KA 2 – Strategic Partnership Call: First Call 2015( 3-year programme) Aim: searching for best practices and innovation in a network of Universities. Partnership: Universities participating to the first and second staff week 2014 in Catania

Erasmus Staff Week – March 2014 A Telematic Dialogue A section within STUDIUM platform will be used for the project and will be available for IRO officers participating to the network in order to exchange ideas and proposals (limited access with username and password) A webpage in the english portal of the University of Catania will be used for the project in order to provide to a larger public good practices shared and experimented by the network universities (open access) An evaluation phase of the initiatives of the year will be made in December through satisfation questionaire available for all the participants in the reserved entry section of STUDIUM

Erasmus Staff Week – March 2014 IRO Staff Weeks In January a call will be published in the reserved area of STUDIUM in order to find out the specific topics to be discussed during the 2 one-week training courses for administrative staff organized every year In March one representative for each institution will be selected for a grant covering accommodation and meals expenses In May and in October the training courses on the topic chosen and for the administrative staff selected will be held in Catania. Costs will be covered by the project.

Erasmus Staff Week – March 2014 Students and Professors Intensive Programmes In January a call will be published in the reserved area of STUDIUM in order to find out the specific topics to be studied during a one week winter and a summer intensive programmes that will be organized every year In April one student and one professor by each institution will be selected for a grant covering accommodation and meals expenses ( each professor will be in charge of providing 6 hours of lectures and 2 hours of workshop during 3 days of course ) In July and December the intensive programmes on the topic chosen and involving the professors and student selected will be held in Catania. Costs will be covered by the project.

Erasmus Staff Week - March 2014 Possible Topics Universities belonging to the network could propose: Topics on which an international courses provided in english already exists Topics on which an joint curricula (with at least one foreign partner) already exists For example Catania could propose a topic in archeological studies; in international relations and social science or in a specifica area of engineering
