Strate Equity and Bonds Settlement Officer Launched: Equities – September 2010 Bonds – November 2011 Designed for learners who don’t want to complete the full compliance certification Aimed at individuals who are operating within operational divisions of settlements, securities lending and borrowing and corporate actions On completion will be awarded Strate Settlement Officers Certification Credit bearing modules for Compliance accreditiation

Our Partners SAIFM (South African Institute of Financial Markets) – accredited examination body Integrity and standards of exams are upheld Learner can write their exams across Southern Africa/ world-wide via authorised invigilators Each Strate module is examinable through multiply choice questions Results are made available immediately to the learners Pass rates for exams remain at an acceptable level with a 65% average across all modules

Special Purpose Reserve Fund Strate = Self Regulatory Organisation (SRO) = may impose monetary fines and penalties Fund set up by Strate Board Give back to the market in the form of development and upliftment of skills in our industry Proposals to Strate Audit and Risk Committee for approval All Strate Training and Exams are 50% subsidized by this fund

Our Clients During 2011 training was provided to over 130 learners from 10 different institutions in over 47 seminar days A total of 534 learners have written the Strate examinations since inception in 2008
