Introductions Originally from Galveston, Texas Texas State University ( was Southwest Texas when I was there) - B.S. Elementary Education -GT Certified 18th year in the district- all in First Grade Two wonderful daughters: Katelyn (24) graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 2012 with a Marine Biology degree/Environmental Science. Jessica (20) is in her third at Texas State studying Marketing.

Homework Routine Monday- Spelling- SPELLING CHOICE Tuesday-Math Wednesday – Phonics/Reading Thursday-Spelling Read aloud with your child 15 minutes each night and complete reading log Homework Should Be Done in Pencil Make up work is due the same amount of days your child is absent.

Please complete the reading log each night to verify that your child has read aloud with you or listened to you read aloud with them. How Do I Get Home? If there is a change in how your child is getting home, please send a note in your child’s red folder or me prior to the start of school. Do not . During the school day, be sure to call in any changes to the office by 1:00pm. This will help greatly with making sure your child gets to the right place safely!
