How It Works HMML provides equipment, training, and payment for local technicians HMML coordinates cataloging if needed HMML provides long-term digital archiving, data migration, and replacement images owners keep copies of all images and retain publication and commercial rights HMML may display metadata and sample images, and provide secured access to complete manuscripts for researchers

HMMLs Digital Archive 30,000 mss digitally imaged since mss imaged in 2011 =ca. 6,000,000 unique digital image files in RAW and JPEG format; 86 TB in RAW + 26 TB in JPEG complete back-up, archiving, and data refreshment program
