Use the paddle attachment on the bench mixer to cream sugar, fat, flavorings, and salt together. The mixture will turn 1 Mix Creamed Cookie Dough Glencoe Visual Showcase lighter in volume, texture, and color. Cream only slightly for a chewy cookie.
