Health Occupations Students of America Mission Statement The mission of HOSA is to enhance the delivery of compassionate, quality health care by providing opportunities for knowledge, skill and leadership development of all health science education students. The HOSA mission is especially critical when considering the acute shortage of qualified workers for the health care industry.

Health Science in Demand 13 of the Best 30 Careers in 2009 (U. S. News and World Report) 10 of the 20 fastest growing occupations (Bureau of Labor Statistics) Healthcare will generate 3.2 million new jobs , more than any other industry, largely in response to elderly population.
