CURRENT STATE OF STI IN SWAZILAND No STI policy No S&T policy either Sector policies exist e.g. Agric, ICT, Energy, Environment & Mining Numerous constraints in STI development due to absence of policy
Constraints result in: → inadequate funding → weak institutional infrastructure → lack of co-ordination of S&T activities → weak links between S&T institutions & industry.
