Disabilities Network – Vision Foster a work environment that recognizes people of all abilities Increase awareness of the impact a disability or disabilities can have on an individuals life and family Foster a culture of respect and inclusion as it relates to people with disabilities and their families Our Vision is to create a network that will help KPMG:

Disabilities Network – Objectives The Disabilities Network strives to provide guidance on, and raise awareness of, workplace issues that can affect partners and employees who have a disability, or who have a family member with special needs.

Disabilities Network – Objectives We work to achieve these objectives by: Recommending strategies designed to help foster an environment in which these partners and employees feel included, are engaged, and are recognized for their talents and experience Enhancing processes to further support the recruitment, development, on-boarding and mentoring of employees with a disability or a family member with special needs Identifying actions to help increase awareness of KPMGs commitment to people with disabilities and their families, both internally and externally

Local Chapter activities Montvale partners with Veterans network and hosts speaker from Homes for Our Troops Montvale hosts Vocational Visions, an organization that coordinates Structured Learning Experiences for individuals with special needs Boston conducts workshop by MetDESK – planning for the future Chicago conducts fundraisers for Memorial Family Services and hosts sharing forum Chicago conducts Special Olympics presentation, fundraiser and sponsors a Special Olympian Chicago hosts MSO and lunch learn on Elderly Care Issues with Geriatric specialists from Northwestern University Atlanta participates in diabetes walk Dallas held open house with area specialists San Francisco hosting a series of dinners with partner champions for network members San Francisco piloted training through Portland State for HR professionals on recognizing and addressing needs of family members of people with disabilities Washington DC hosts Why we Ride forum to support MS ride

Reasonable Accommodation Process Establishing guidelines and process for requesting and reviewing accommodation requests Employees will be able to submit their request electronically HR and appropriate leaders will be able to evaluate the request Process encourages dialogue amongst the individual, their manager and HR to come to a reasonable outcome for all Tracking tool will allow us to capture best practices and leverage them across the firm, and identify trends Establish a Accommodations review board who will weigh on on difficult requests and review trends on a look back basis
