Geothermal power By Kevin Brady Jack Dillon Aoifin McCauley Pól McKinney Mark O’Neill

Geothermal Energy Geothermal Energy is when we dig deep down underground and we use the magma at the centre of the earth’s crust to heat pipes full of water near the surface

How it Works Is when we dig pipes underground deep enough to heat the water in the pipes and evaporates into steam Which we use to power a turbine to make electric and power homes

Advantages No fuel is need to make geothermal energy It does not cause any pollution It is 80% cheaper once its built than fossil fuels It doesn't take long to get started

Disadvantages Disadvantages of geothermal power are…. You may run out of steam There isn’t many places where you can get it.

We chose geothermal power because… You need any fuel It doesn’t cause any pollution at all No one can see it All you need is hot rocks underground

summary It is when we dig down underground deer enough to heat the water in the pipes and evaporates in to steam. Its 80% cheaper than fossil fuels. You need no fuel
