Pol Sc 222 March Essay Due March pages or 2500 words Worth 30 percent Choice of topics from list (or approved by instructor) Requires independent research: a minimum of five sources. Decide on topic by March 11 (tell me in class or send an ).

Research sources 1 Start with relevant chapter in Brooks, Canadian Democracy; and (especially) Bickerton and Gagnon (eds) Canadian Politics Each topic will require reading outside the main texts. See bibliographies in Bickerton and Gagnon chapters. Journals online or non-circulating in library. Internet-based sources from Canadian think tanks and government research sources. Keep general internet sources such as Wikipedia to a minimum.
