God is at work. He is still working even in the darkest times. But we can only realize that if we obey and trust him. God is at work to fulfill his will and also for our benefit.

God makes things happen: 1 God made Ruth and Boaz meet each other Was it just by chance? Of course not! God was at work!

2 God brought the kinsman-redeemer along. 4:1 Meanwhile Boaz went up to the town gate and sat there. When the kinsman- redeemer he had mentioned came along, Boaz said, 'Come over here, my friend, and sit down.' So he went over and sat down. Was it just by chance? Of course not! God was at work!
