January 24, 2006NANC2 Work continues on the permanent pANI Administration recommendation for NANC: –IMG has reached consensus on four of the guiding principles and policies associated with permanent pANI administration. Another two issues are pending consensus along with three issues that are under development. –ATIS INC continues to follow the progress of the IMG in preparation for the development of the permanent pANI Guidelines. –IMG recommendation expected to be finalized and sent to NANC for its consideration in March pANI IMG Phase II Status

January 24, 2006NANC3 Status Phase II - pANI Policy & Guidelines Consensus Reached: –Shared use of pANIs across all Eligible Users. –Need for the Selective Router COMMON LANGUAGE® Location Codes (CLLI Codes) use on pANI Request Form. –Definition of Eligible User for all pANI Codes. –All pANI assignments to be made by the permanent pANI Routing Number Authority (RNA). Pending: –Wireless inclusion in pANI? Migration from dial able to non-dial able pANI Codes. Transition policy. –Reporting & Reclamation of pANI Codes?

January 24, 2006NANC5 pANI IMG Open Issues What is the current status of NANC recommendations to the FCC? Recommendation on the Interim pANI Assignment Guidelines for ESQK? Recommendation that Pooling Administrator be the Interim Routing Number Authority (IRNA)? Recommendation that the permanent pANI administrator responsibilities be included in the FCCs next Pooling Administrator Contract Bid? Have any assumptions changed related to the use of pANIs that will effect the IMGs work? Is there a need for the IMG to continue to work on a permanent process before the interim process has been adopted?
