General information Main characteristics of INCIVICS -Project to support young and emerging artists. -Started in Will achieve a new dimension in regional networks. -Includes more than 30 artists in the field of visual arts and their works. -Organised important exhibitions in the municipal museum and in the city. -Awarded the Espais de la crítica dart 2000, the only prize in this category in the Spanish State. - Incivics artworks are distributed commercially by an art gallery (AB Galeria)

Stockholm, june REGNET IST Cultural Heritage in Regional Networks 2. Data Management 2.1. Comments on technical planning We intend to implement a data base system to catalogue the collection. We will also design a web site on Incivics as well as including the artists and their works on photography and image (video creation and net art) in a web site of one of Incivics collaborators. The functions we want to support are basically focused on two levels: Internal Level: creation of an online community of emerging artists to promote the interchange of experiences among the Incivics artists and resources, digitisation.... External Level; cataloguing and disseminating the Incivics artists and works, digitisation and education The METHOD we will use for subject classification is Keywords and another possible way would be image categorisation.
