e-Dictate Online Evaluation Test Introduction e-Dictate Online Evaluation Test Introduction e-Dictate Online Evaluation Test is the first step towards becoming a member of the e-Dictate family. The Online Evaluation Test consists of two tests: 1) Online Screening Test 2) Online MT Audio Test (MAT) During the course of these tests you will be tested on the following criteria: Medical knowledge Language skills Computer skills Aptitude Attention to detail The duration of these tests will be approximately 3 to 4 hours.

e-Dictate Online Evaluation Test Introduction e-Dictate Online Evaluation Test Introduction To be an e-Dictate HBA, you need to clear both the tests sequentially 1) Online Screening Test : The Online Screening Test will test your skills in the areas of Medical Terminology, Grammar and AAMT Guidelines. There will be one paper on each subject and you need to score a min of 60% in each of them to qualify. You will be allotted 300 seconds (5 minutes) for each paper. You need to qualify in the Online Screening Test before you can attempt the Online Audio test. 2) Online MT Audio Test (MAT) The Audio Test consists of 3 audio files to be transcribed. The Proficiency Test consists of 1 file to be verified. The duration of the audio test will be 60 minutes for each file.

Screening Test …. After you fill the online registration form, you can proceed to attempt the screening test using the user name and password displayed on the screen. You will get the same user name and password through your email also. This would be useful in case you want to take the test later. Press the Start Test button to start the test.

Getting started Go through the instructions carefully and click on start button to proceed further.

On Line Screening Test Please go through the instructions carefully before you start the screening test and keep an eye on the time remaining. You will be allotted 5 minutes for each paper. Note: You will have to complete the test within the stipulated time of 5 min for each paper.

On Line Screening Test Result Once you clear the screening test, you will get a congratulation message. You can then proceed for the audio tests.

On Line Audio Test Please read the instructions carefully before starting the audio test.

On Line Audio Test Download the audio test file by clicking Test0001.wav and save it on your PC .

On Line Audio Test Click on the browse button to select the transcribed file and upload button to upload the file.

On Line Audio Test Follow the same procedure for all the three audio files as well as for the proficiency test file .

On Line Audio Test After you upload all the files, you have an option to see the original transcripts to crosscheck your performance. Your result will be sent to you via email within 3 business days.
