“To bring, or not to bring…” Laptops (it’s dusty out there!) –Your primary writing task will be doing your journal - if you’re more comfortable on your computer then bring it - if you just want to write in a notebook, bring that Plan on doing field notes in a small notebook connectivity: –Worst case: you will be able to use one of the station computers to read/send –Best case: you will be able to connect your own computer to the network –As of this point, we don’t know if the best case will be possible
