R T I Goals of This Module 1.To develop awareness of the five essential components of a systematic problem solving process: Response To Intervention (RTI) and how they relate to national and state initiatives. 2.To consider and discuss with your colleagues what you already have in place that is a part of systemic problem solving process to effectively implement RTI. 3.To develop next steps for RTI in your school and district as part of your school improvement plan.

R T I Why RTI? Think about a student (or group of students) who was difficult to teach... And you ended up being successful. 1.Who was the student(s)? 2. What was the problem? 3. What did you do? 4. How do you know you were successful?
