Dredged Material Disposal Volumes and the RMP April 17, 2006 SFEI Elizabeth Christian, SFRWQCB Brian Ross, USEPA

RMP and Small Dredgers RMP intended to give small dredgers a break on fees LTMS will significantly reduce in-bay disposal Hamilton ATF is key to LTMS success BUT Hamilton may result in mainly small dredgers disposing in-bay Thus, under current fee structure small dredgers could pay most non-Corps RMP fees

Transition to the LTMS 40/40/20 Plan Began in 2001 Long-term Goal In-Bay Disposal: * In-Situ volume *

4,433,693 4,281,358 3,650,948 3,317,555 * Bin volume Actual Dredging Has Been Decreasing Overall 2,749,222
