Viking Houses! By Niamh Rayfield Toni Williams & Rachel Combe Today we are going to talk about viking houses !

The Houses

Furniture The furniture is wooden The Viking bed is a bit like a long ship because it has a dragon head The Vikings only had beds & chairs. Viking house can be in all shapes and sizes There is a long and round house. The rich Vikings lived in a farm house.

Kitchen The rich Vikings drank out of a silver cup The not so rich Vikings drank out of a horn They had a silver bowl and they eat out of it. The Vikings used a basin to wash there clothes clean themselves

Typical day for a Viking Vikings would brush their hair with a fork. When Vikings brush their teeth they use mouse guts.

Entrances & keys The key is big and round and there is a case for it.The entrance is going into the hall. There is a suport pole for the main rafter.
