P1/2 What weve enjoyed about our year!

Houses and homes We liked doing our housing survey. We learned to use tally marks. We counted lots of different types of houses.

A Tale To Tell We liked playing the drums. We liked singing. Some of us liked eating the bannock!

Growing Potatoes We had fun. Farmer Keith came to help us grow the potatoes. He was really nice.

Shape Work We had fun learning about the 3D shapes. Ben built a TV. Erin built a bed. Nicole and Abigale made a rocket. Elliot built a tall tower. We made lots of different things.

Maths! We love maths! We can take away, multiply, add and share!

People Who Help Us We found out about jobs in and around school. We interviewed them and took their picture.

Making Healthy Snacks We made cookies and fruit kebabs. They were tasty and good for us!

Doing Experiments! We found out all about ice. We were trying to make it melt.

Model Making We loved building igloos and eating some of the marshmallows.

Timed Spelling Challenges We love doing our spelling challenges. You have to write as many words as you can in 10 minutes!

Being Teachers! We help each other check our work. We sign someone else's jotter using our teachers pens. We use stampers and stickers too. It is fun!
