His life Phil o Donnell had a great life and he devoted his life to football and his family and friends. Phil started his career at Motherwell then went to Celtic then Sheffield Wednesday. Phil o Donnell was the youngest player to play in Europe with Motherwell.

Phil's unfortunate death Phil o Donnell died playing for Motherwell against Dundee united. He collapsed as he was about to get substituted. He then got rushed to hospital and died of a cardiac arrest.
Tributes to Phil Terry Butcher said he was a great role model to young footballers. There was a lot more tributes than this one like fans,celebrates,other footballers and his family. Although he was a great footballer he was also a gentleman a good person and completely loving to his friends and family.
