Interviewee: Ernie Cabral Presented and completed by: James Morden and Zac O’Neil cabral

 Doing different things everyday

 Doing the same things over and over everyday

 I had a big interest in doing mechanical repairs on vehicles.

 Do triage on trucks as they roll in. Repairs. Overhaul. Its endless what we do with the trucks

 You need a college education, as well as 9000 hours on the job.

 Stick to the electrical and dianostics

 We all work as a team. Its 100% teamwork.

 Yes I am. I like the fast pace work ethic.

 No I would not change careers. I would modify this one. I would o into a different specialty.

 It is very safe. Many precautions are set up and we are all trained properly. Also not many people are specializing in his line of work so their are not many people to get hurt.

 Oh definitely. Its been my interest to work on and repair vehicles since before high school.

 Yes I can. I can work just about anywhere in north America.

 You need all your training, you need a red seal, you need you certificate of qualification after your 9000 hours and you are still constantly training while on the job for the rest of your life.

 Sometimes extremely dangerous if not careful, Fast paced, Hard on your body and hard in general because of all these variables.

 Since So 36 years.

 I get a month of vacation time and regular holidays like Christmas and Thanksgiving.

 If I could go back I would probably specialize in something. Right now I don't specialize in anything. The people who do specialize get all the good, clean jobs.

 We use a lot of different scanning equipment for looking inside the vehicles so we don’t have to go digging around in the trucks. We use a lot of technology to make the job quicker and safer.

 Always staying up to date with the latest technology and concerning your health care and dental needs, we get the full package.

 Right as I got out of high school, I looked at what I needed to do so I could become a mechanic.
