Inter Guiana Cultural Fest 4 Days multi-disciplinairy art festival August Paramaribo

GUIANAS The Guiana shield is part of the earthlayer which is 2 billion year old. North coast of South America, known of its rainforest, waterfalls and mountains. Today the guianas is the collective name of three countries at the North coast of South America: Guyana (1966), Suriname (1975), French Guyana (1946) Ecological-, historical- and cultural related. Roots: African, Asian (India, Indonesia, China Languages: English, Dutch and French

OBJECTIVES To cultivate and develop closer and more solid cultural relations, including artistic exchanges between the people of the Guianas. To strenghten the existing friendly relations between the people of the Guianas. Cooperation would bring mutual benefit for the people of the Guianas. Provide Forum for art and culture people to meet,,to exchange experiences and to develop ideas of cooperation.
