RSGS extend its facility Beginning last year, China Remote Sensing Satellite Ground Station (RSGS) started to extend its receiving range to cover the whole Chinese territory Establish western receiving station – Kashi, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of China Establish southern receiving station – Sanya, Hainan Province of China Expand receiving antenna at Miyun station – Beijing of China The goal is to receive more than 15 satellites simultaneously Continuously as national receiving station to responsible for receiving civil remote sensing satellites worldwide Responsible to receive national resources satellite data such as the series of China-Brazil Earth Resources Satellites (Cbers’s), the Chinese constellation of small satellites for environment and disaster monitoring and forecasting (HJ’s) 15
RSGS extend its facility The receiving coverage 16
RSGS extend its facility The design has been finished and approved by authorization Kashi receiving station Sanya receiving station 17
RSGS extend its facility Kashi Station has almost established First Antenna has been put into operation 18
RSGS extend its facility Sanya Station will be started its base construction 19
