Wednesday Plenary Agenda 1600 to 1655 NomCom Process Change 1655 to 1700Stage Change 1700 to 1930Management Plenary

NomCom Process Change Drafts:draft-galvin-rfc3777bis draft-dawkins-nomcom-dont-wait draft-dawkins-nomcom-openlist Presentation of each draft followed by Q&A Get a sense of the room about moving forward with each of the suggested changes dicussion:

NomCom picks our leaders IESG, IAB, and at-large IAOC members are selected according to process in RFC 3777 Recent NomCom Chairs have raised concerns with the process Formed design team of former NomCom Chairs plus a scribe

NomCom Design Team draft-dawkins-nomcom-3777-issues-00.txt listed the issues identified by the past NomCom Chairs with no attempt to gain consensus on them The list of issues was discussed on ieft-nomcom mail list Working on the ones with sufficient support during that mail list discussion However, each NomCom seems to find new places for improvements

Drafts to be discussed draft-galvin-rfc3777bis Adds the IAOC to the process already defined in RFC 3777 for the IESG and the IAB draft-dawkins-nomcom-dont-wait Allows announcement of open positions and call for volunteers before a NomCom Chair is named draft-dawkins-nomcom-openlist Allow NomCom to disclose the list of nominees who are willing to serve
