At one time Hank had 5 of the top 12 Pop Songs! During his 29 year lifetime, hank recorded 129 songs. Hank's stardom lasted less than 4 years (1949-Jan 1953) One of the first of 3 people to be inducted to the Country Hall of Fame Hank made his first appearance on the Grand Ole Opry on June 11, He sang his hit song, "Lovesick Blues" which had sold over 3 million copies.
