International harmonization programs Cooperation with other ANSPs, airlines, industry and other partners: AIRE, NEXGEN, SESAR –AIRE with both the FAA and the SJU by supporting several flight campaigns to promote the utilization by the airlines of the new generation ATM systems and procedures (in-flight reroutes, data link communications). –Supporting both USA/NEXGEN and EU/SESAR programs as NAV Portugal ATS units are the physical interface between those programs.

International harmonization programs Cooperation with other ANPS, airlines, airports, industry and other partners: –Participation on 30 projects of the SESAR program development; –Supporting current flight trial campaigns to validate the technical and operational program concepts, SMART – to share a/c flights (progression and planning) between ATC and airlines flight operations centers to support optimized in-flight changes.
