page 12 Remove Hard-Disk Drive (1) Unplug the IDE cable and the power connector (1, 2, 3) Unscrew four screws and remove the HDD bracket from the product case

page 13 Remove Hard-Disk Drive (2) Unscrew HDD from the bracket You must set HDD to master for using it in SMP-WEBPLUS

page 14 Remove DOM DOM (Disk-on-Module) locates besides DRAM Remove it gently from IDE connector

page 15 Remove DRAM Press 2 DRAM latches and remove it from the socket

page 16 Remove Power Supply (1) Unplug ATX power connector Press the latch and pull up the connector

page 17 Remove Power Supply (2) Unscrew five screws then you can remove power supply from its place

page 18 Unscrew five screws; then you can remove the power supply Remove Power Supply (2)

page 20 Loose the 4 screws at 4 corners of the motherboard Remove the motherboard from the box Remove Motherboard (2)

page 28 Remove CF and HDD Release the HDD rack screw, you can remove HDD upper rack from the base The firmware Compact Flash Card locates beneath the HDD Remove CF card by dragging it in the direction of arrow

page 29 Remove HDD from Drive Bay Unplug IDE cable and remove HDD from the box Unscrew four screws around the upper rack and remove HDD You must set HDD to the slave mode

page 31 Remove DRAM Push DRAM’s latch to unlock DRAM from socket.

page 39 Remove Cover To remove the upper cover, you must unscrew four screws on the top and bottom.

page 40 Inside Player After opening the top cover, you will see (1) Slim HDD (2) Firmware flash (DOM)

page 41 Remove HDD (1) To remove HDD and the rack from the box, you must release four screws in four corners. After removing HDD and rack, you can release HDD screws from rack.

page 43 Remove Firmware DOM To remove the firmware flash disk (DOM), just unplug it from the IDE socket

page 44 Remove Motherboard (1) To remove the motherboard from the box, you must release 4 hexagonal screws from the VGA and COM port connectors.

page 48 Serial Number Serial Number is very important to communicate with Cayin You can find Serial Number on Carton and Product Box The initial 2 letters is product model:  SW: SMP-WEB  SP: SMP-PRO2  WP: SMP-WEBPLUS  WE: SMP-WEB3  PR: SMP-PRO3  CM: CMS server

page 49 License Key You can find the product license key on the rear panel of the product. It combines 8~10 digits. When you recover the system or replace the system flash memory, you will be asked to enter the Key in first start up.
