2014 Work and Financial Plan  Work plan of Region XI for internal clearance at NPPD  WFP 2014 will be completed for the record – but physical and financial targets are as per BED forms

2015 Work and Financial Plan  ROs 2 and 5 submitted 2015 work plan even without the memo NPPD to validate list of regions with submissions  Memo on WFP preparation to be issued during week of ManCon  COB 29 December – deadline for WP, FP, PPMP, and T&D  Targeting completion by end of January

2015 Work and Financial Plan  Memo on WFP preparation to be issued during week of ManCon  Regional offices may propose activities or expense items not in the 2015 Agency Performance Measures and the 2015 Operational Plan BUT subject to review by the Internal Management Committee.  Proposal should indicate activity, objectives, implementation details (what will be done, for whom, by whom, when), requested budget -- expense item, unit cost, and number of units.

2016 Proposed Budget NPPD to prepare memo on 2016 budget preparation for ROs to submit proposals indicating specific targets and funding requirements even without the budget call

Organization of Regional Nutrition Clusters  NPPD to still work with NDDRMC for a policy instrument to support organization of local clusters within the first quarter of 2015  Nutrition Cluster vests for ARMM shipped on 28 August 2014 and received by Dr. Sinolinding on 29 August 2014 ROs 5, 8, 9 and 11 and ARMM-NNC still to submit acknowledgement receipts.. Peek into policy formulation at the regional level  ROs to monitor implementation of RNC Resolutions and follow through of GB resolutions  NPC Mila Federizo and NPC Arceli Latonio to provide updates  Final document coming soon

BNS with funding support from NNC  Will use Php 30/BNS in the financial plan for 2015

National Salt Iodization Program (NSIP) TWG  Region 8 attended and presented status report of the Regional Bantay Asin Task Force to TWG- NSIP meeting on 19 August 2014  NPCs to include estimates for RBATF expenses for 2015

Food Fortification (FF) TWG  Ms. Vega and Mr. Julze Alejandre participated in the regional workshop on scaling up rice fortification initiatives in Asia in Bangkok on September  Philippines will pursue first the use of iron- fortified rice in safety net programs. Mr. Hector Maglalang will be hired as consultant to facilitate related processes.

MYCNSIA  NPC Tad-y and Tarroza to provide NSD with terminal report once available Post MDG 2015 Scenario  For adoption in the UN General Assembly of but have some concerns on nutrition

United Nations Development Assistance Framework (UNDAF) Sub-outcome on Food and Nutrition Security  No further update, but this network will be strengthened as part of applying principles of Scaling Up Nutrition

Update on HB 3925 on barangay health workers  No update PAN Convention  Still for action
