CHAMPS GROUP CONTINGENCY PLAN

C- Character is great. H- Honesty is outstanding. A-Attitude is good. M- Manners are marvelous. P- Punctually is excellent S- Superstar All of the above.

HOW THE REWARD SYSTEM WORKS Students will be divided into 4 groups/tables Each group/table will be assigned a color A jar will be assigned to each group/table Every time a student in the group/table demonstrates any characteristics of a “CHAMP” he or she will add a marble to his or her group/table jar

HOW THE REWARD SYSTEM WORKS Once the jar has 10 marbles the group or table gets to move their group color track shoe 1 inch on the classroom “CHAMPS’ track. The group/table that reaches the finish line first gets awarded with a 1 st place ribbon and an opportunity to get a prize from the treasure box. Once a group/table reaches the finish line the race ends. The three remaining groups/tables are awarded ribbons according to the place they finished but don’t get a prize from the treasure box.

TREASURE BOX The treasure box can consist of different things. Primary levels -Toys -Stickers -Coupons for popcorn -Etc… Secondary Level -Extra credit coupon -Option to able to work with a partner on an assignment -Free time on the computer coupon -Etc…

ALTERNATE REWARD SYSTEM The students who are struggling to present characteristics of a “CHAMP” will have a separate jar of marbles. Once the jar has 3 marbles, the student is rewarded. Primary -Choose recess game -Send a positive letter home on a job well done. -Be class leader Secondary -Call home concerning the achievement the student has done. -Option to create a coupon to be added to the treasure box with a reward he or she will like.
