Soviet Union The Soviet Union was structured many years ago and nowdays does not exist. It started in Basically it was many countries that all connected like 1 big country. The Soviet Union took up about ¼ of the world. The countries decided to split up so that they could have there own independence. The Soviet Union separated into 15 countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Estonia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuanian, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan. Now the Soviet Union does not exist. The soviet Union ended in Picture of Soviet Union (when it existed) Soviet Union Flag

Russian Food Russia is mainly a northern country with long-lasting cold winter. The food should give the Russians much energy and warmth to survive during the winter time. So, the essential components of Russian cuisine are the ones, which provide more carbohydrates and fat rather than proteins. Fresh fruits and vegetables are rarely used in the food that they cook. So, the top five components of a Russian meal are potatoes, bread, eggs, meat (especially beef) and butter. Other popular foods include cabbage, milk, sour cream, curds, mushrooms, lard, cucumbers, tomatoes, apples, berries, honey, sugar, salt, garlic, and onions.

Conclusion I think Russia is very important in many ways because of how the world evolved and where many of our meats are imported from. The Soviet Union was very important to Russia. I would like to go to Russia and I would recommend going if you could!! I hope that you liked my presentation! Soph
