FIRST DAY JOURNAL

REMEMBER WHAT HAPPENED THE FIRST DAY

What did you do when you woke up. How did you sleep? Lets take it a step further, what did you do the last night of summer? For example

Last night I was sick. I couldn’t just lay down and rest. I was too nervous about the start of school. I was in our office when I thought about watching the show Jack Reacher. I turned on the movie and watched it. Half way though, I was thinking about what I was going to say when the students showed up. I took out my Lenovo and started looking at my Power point. I wanted to make sure it had everything I wanted to say. I went over and over the wording. My kids were really hyper. They were running in from the living room and then back. Jumping on the bed. I couldn’t calm them down. We told Marek that it was his first day at school, but I don’t think he understood. I tried to get them into bed early, but they wanted to watch their kindles. I finally put away my laptop, finished my movie, and then tried to sleep. I keep thinking of the next day. I finally fell asleep around 10 O’clock. I woke up at 6:15 and took a shower. When I finished, I went to wake up my two boys. Marek was really hard to get up.
