Energy Exchange : Federal Sustainability for the Next Decade 7 3M/ORNL Next-Generation Air Barriers Test site: Cottage Grove, MN  Quantify energy savings due to improvements in airtightness  3M Built and instrumented 8 test facilities  ORNL will monitor energy use and air barrier performance for 2 years  Data collection will begin in August 2015  At least one air and water resistive barriers transitioned to CBI deployment.  Work can be leveraged by DOE’s Codes team 3M M 2085VP Easy-to-install air and water barrier that is expected to reduce installation errors, thereby increasing energy savings
