What Are Credits? Each class is worth 5 credits a semester. Students take 6 classes each semester, which equals 30 credits a semester. This means, students should earn 60 credits a year. 1 Semester Course = 5 Credits 1 Semester = 30 Credits 1 Year = 60 Credits
