The average age of the nonfiction collection is over 30 years. The fiction collection is current with an average age of under 25 years. Age of Collection

Collection Balance There are 14,430 book in the collection. 12,743 are unique titles. The ratio of students to books is 1:12

Current Collection Map Core Collection Generally fair but outdated in all areas. Average copyright date is over 15 years old. Need to fill out 13 areas w/no materials at all Fiction 24% of the collection with good selection of current titles and series. Need to add more high interest, low reading level titles to support AR and ELL struggling readers. Languages Limited selection lacks materials to adequately support reading in Spanish for intermediate and advanced (AP) students Poor Exemplary Superior Good Fair Academy Support Basic collection is fair but lacks materials to support newer specialized curriculum. AEM Arts collection is dated. Needs to be updated and balanced to include new technologies & digital media EES Architecture, Engineering, Environmental Science, Manufacturing BE Focus on Social Sciences, Economics, Commerce
