Mountains in Orange County -Hudson Highlands: 700 million year old -Ridge and Valley Mountain Range -Allegany Plateau

Native American communities -Around 1600, the Delaware Indians lived in Orange County -They often lived along the sides of rivers and/or streams leading to the Delaware River

The Marcellus Shale -Orange County is in the Marcellus Shale -Fracking can cause water and soil pollution. Then, we drink the water and get horribly sick!
