Adjectives

Objective To learn about different kinds of adjectives.

An adjective describes a noun. My big cat eats a lot. The word big is describing the cat.

An adjective may tell how many, what size, or what shape. Examples: five, small, triangular.

Most adjectives come before a noun. The tree gives big apples. apples = noun big = adjective

Examples: Two bears ride bikes. The adjective describes how many.

I see five balls. The adjective describes the amount or how many.
