Typical practice Types of regular season tournaments: MN/USA Qualifiers - more competitive MN/USA Qualifiers - more competitive Open tournaments Open tournaments Qualifiers “qualify” your child for entrance to the state tournament based on points (25 pts needed) (1) 1 st place finish is 40 points – qualifies for state (1) 1 st place finish is 40 points – qualifies for state (1) 2 nd place finish is 25 points – qualifies for state (1) 2 nd place finish is 25 points – qualifies for state (1) 3 rd place finish is 10 points – need 3 (1) 3 rd place finish is 10 points – need 3
New Parent/Wrestler Orientation Club has “coach attended” tourneys – check Facebook weekly for updates.
