The immediate future Participation in the Galician Scientific Production Observatory, promoted by the Galician Universities Quality Agency (ACSUG) Control of the Galician researches scientific production through:  International databases (ISI)  National databases (CSIC)  Universities databases Elaboration of scientific production indicators for each university

The immediate future Elaboration of new indicators for the distribution of costs of the products acquired through the consortium Applied to: E-journal (BUGalicia pays 100% of databases, ebooks and technological resources) Current indicators (not all big deals) are based on: 50% print subscriptions 50% divided in 30% FTEs 30% BU budget 40% Equal parts

The immediate future Future indicators (in study): Applied to all resources: e-journals, databases, e books and technological resources based on: 20-30% BUGalicia 70-80% Universities: 40% Fixed percentage 30% FTEs 30% Budget of each of the universities ¿?% Resources usage (in debate) This proposal is being discussed at the moment; it probably will be postponed until the Fecyt new system for Spain is known

The immediate future Extension of the access to BUGalicia resources to Galician Research and Technology Centers, RETGALIA  Research Centers:  8 centers  about 130 researches  Technology Centers:  13 centers  about 130 researches
