So, there are boys who use light blue ones and girls who use orange ones. Kids use the one landoselu for 6 years.

After arriving at school, we change our shoes here After arriving at school, we change our shoes here. This is photo of the shoes boxes. Japanese use separate shoes for inside and outside. This is the same at our houses.

These are classrooms. Teachers write content on the blackboard, and students copy it down into their note books.

Most Japanese primary schools don’t have uniforms, but have school sportswear and cap. This cap is reversible, called “Akasirobo”. These are photos of a Sports Festival. Students are organised into Red and White teams. They are fighting for the championship.

Students serve the meals. Servers change every week. They are giving thanks before the meal, “Itadakimasu”. Teachers eat same lunch in the classroom with students.

After the meal, students clean up the school. After the cleaning time, students have free time. Here, they are playing on the jungle gym. Dodge ball, soccer, reading books and talking with friends are typical way of spending free time.
