CLUSTER INOLTRA 1 Communication 2006 / C 323/01: "‘innovation clusters’ means groupings of independent undertakings — innovative start-ups, small, medium and large undertakings as well as research organisations — operating in a particular sector and region and designed to stimulate innovative activity by promoting intensive interactions, sharing of facilities and exchange of knowledge and expertise and by contributing effectively to technology transfer, networking and information dissemination among the undertakings in the cluster.” INOLTRA is a cluster in transport and logistics, and it had an acknowledgement from Abruzzo Region in 2013 (start up in jan. 2014)

CLUSTER INOLTRA 2 65 COMPANIES : 60 SME, 5 LE - logistics, freights and passengers transport (on railways, road, sealines, airplane cargo) logistics, infrastructures management, business services 22 PARTNER: public and private research centers, enterprise associations and other organizations from Abruzzo and other italian regions totally about 3500 employees and revenues of € 350 mlns
