2 Steps in Supporting Local Enterprise Development Needs assessment & search for local contacts Connect local actors with international best practices & knowledge Encourage a “bottom up” approach in developing solutions that are relevant to the local community

3 Local Area Needs Assessment Identify local contact points for the implementation of the local entrepreneurship measures Identify the maturity level of the local area and the aspects needed to support enterprise Map local regional needs according to maturity level and political involvement and commitment Use best practices in developing policies from EU as well as searching non-EU models to innovate in developing new local models and applications
